About
Me

Hi,
My name is Ashley Dunn. I am VERY proud to be a childcare provider in Omaha,
NE. I opened my doors to child care in January 2008. I always said that once we
started a family I would provide childcare. I love being able to do what I love
on a daily basis, work with cute, wonderful, cuddly kids and be able to stay home
with my own children, all in the same days work! I couldn't love my job any
more!
I am in love with the most wonderful man in the world! We have a beautiful baby
boy that is a little over 3 months old now. He is growing so fast and changing
everyday which is so exciting! I don't know how we made it this far in life
without him! We love him SO much!

We
live in a great neighborhood called Linden Woods, in a cul-de-sac with wonderful
neighbors. We have a large fenced in back yard. Which is only a few blocks away
from Ezra Elementary school. We live in a smoke free/pet free environment. We
are state licensed.
I currently belong to the Omaha Child Care Directory which is a online directory
for parents looking for childcare in the Omaha area. I also belong to Child Care
Share which is a resource and support group for daycare providers in the Omaha
area. They are a great group of wonderful women with some amazing people behind
it all! I am also CPR and First Aide Certified.
Well, I have worked with children all my
life. My mother ran her own In-Home Daycare for 14 years, which has taught me so
much and more. My experience includes fitness center nursery, nanny, camp
counselor, teacher’s aide, youth volleyball coach, and vocational bible school
teacher.
I
strive to provide a nurturing and secure environment for young children.
Children can safely explore, learn, play, and develop physically, emotionally,
socially, and intellectually. I believe in encouraging healthy habits and
although productive routines are a must, I also value the opportunity of giving
each child the warmth and comfort of loving them individually. Love,
understanding, patience, guidance and training must be provided by parents and
if Child Care is needed, by one consistent care giver. A commitment of this type
of care will mold a precious child for a lifetime.
